Fly fishing fun near St. Louis

Trips: Please Note New Rates for 2008
(It is of course because of the gas prices... my wife won't let me just go fishing all the time without making any money.)
Personalized to meet your needs.
Full day, 9AM, 10AM, 11AM, or Noon, to 6PM, 7PM, 8PM, or 9PM, depending on time of year and/or your schedule. Approximately sixty minutes travel from 141/44 location to first stream.

For anyone who has scheduled a trip, or who schedules a trip, before or on May 9. $150 for one, $75 for the second person.
Half day, late afternoon/evenings only, $100 first person, $50 second.
Rates for trips scheduled after May 9, 2008. $175 for one, $100 for second person.  Half day. $125 first person, $75 second.
Special dusk to dawn trips available.

Catch and Release
It's the right thing to do. No limit. Besides, you don't want to carry rotting fish back to a hotel, on an airplane, or into your significant other's kitchen.  All fish will be returned to the stream unharmed (after you've taken photos, of course.)

What you will need to bring
Wading clothes, usually this means shorts or jeans, cheap tennis shoes, socks, and T-shirt.  You will get wet. You can ride back in wet clothes if you really want to, but bring extra if you want to ride dry. If the weather is cool, bring something to keep you warm.

Food and drink
Eat a good breakfast. Bring along food and drink if you like.  We usually make a quick stop and pick up "snack food," so if your forget, no need to worry. It won't be gourmet, but then again, this isn't a restaurant tour.

Transportation
Provided from near 141 and 44 as part of the expedition cost (that includes gas, for the car). Pickup and return from hotel will be charged at 10 cents per mile.  (Hey, that's much cheaper than a cab.)  Two people can go on the trip (three including the guide); however, one person with the guide is best for those wanting to learn how to flyfish.  Transportation will be in a small but durable car. Trip to streams will include scenic paved and gravel roads.

Photographs
I use disposable cameras, just in case they fall in the water, which has happened once or twice. They will be available to you. Free picutres eamiled to you after the trip.  You will get them when the roll is completed.  Could be a week, a month, or two months.  If you would like your own camera and forgot to get one, I can sell you one of mine. (Of course, I will mark up the price a little to make it worth my effort at stocking them.)
